There is no cure for autism, nor is there a set treatment aside from expensive highly structured behavioral programs that vary in their effectiveness. Today, 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, yet there is no known cause.

A woman has a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer sometime in her life, and a 1 in 33 chance of dying of breast cancer. About 180,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed last year, but the incidence of cancer death is decreasing mostly due to early detection. There are 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.

Early detection increases the 5-year survival rate from 89% to 98%, meaning that if caught early, only 2% of women with breast cancer will die after five years of being diagnosed. Thus it is important to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of women around the world.
